PBL 6

in PBL my group did child abuse. we got a cop in to talk to the year 9s about it. things that did not go as planed was we could not do our original plan. after changing it multiple times but things that did go well was that we got the police to come in and talk to us.

I think that we achieve our goals. because we brought light to the subject. so now the year 9s know about this.

I think for my group. we helped the community of hornby high school by people know about this. but I'm not to sure.

I have know clue what I would do different next time  maybe do a different topic? but I'm not sure because we really did all we could so I don't really know.

An actor prepares

1. how does an actor learn about the role?
the actor learns about their role by looking in to them and making a life or something like that

2. what is an objective give two examples from in to the woods
an objective for the baker and his wife is to have a child and an objective of jacks mother is to get money so they can eat

3. what emotion does the bakers wife show? how does the actors body show emotion?
the bakers wife shows the emotion sadness by crying and their body shows that emotion by their body language and the expression on their face

4. what relationships does the charter have
the bakers wife has a husband and wife relationship and a next door neighbor relationship

the charter is the bakers wife and she is played by Emily Blunt
   

Project Based Learning (PBL)

In school at the moment we are doing Project Based Learning (PBL) and my group name is angry baby penguins in my group there are: Caleb, Casey, Alicia, and me our topic that we are doing is child abuse. child abuse can be mental, physical, emotional, neglect, and sexual. it can scar a child for life, muck up their brain even kill them. our big picture that we will do to solve this issue is go to schools around hornby and talk to the kids year 3 to 6 and talk to them about this so they can spot the signs and help their friends or people around them.

Even more drama stuff

The three scripts I looked at is princess (where's my prince charming?), Catherine, and dogface. I picked Princess (where’s my prince charming?) because I liked it and found it quite funny and I saw lots of penitential it is about a princess who is complaining about how her prince is not coming so it is kind of like a rant. It is written by D.M Larson the princess is a charter that I think could be fun to play because she is about to give up on her dreams which sounds sad but she does it in an entertaining manner. Here is the script that I picked . when I think about the princess I see her almost like a strong person who doesn't need a man but part of her does and she is fighting agent her self on whether or not to give up on her dreams or not. when I think about what she looks like I see myself I don't know why. I think one of her favorite past time is reading (I using my imagination)

Film study in English

at the moment in English we have been doing a film study on Hunt for the Wilder people by Taika Waititi and we had to write an essay on it with the question "with reference to the film techniques, explain how Ricky Baker changes during the film?" here is my essay  I found it kind of easy but I still learnt some things this is what I learnt  I didn't love the movie but it was a good one to write an essay on.
