wind kart

in science we make wind karts to show forces and how they work on an object (or something like that) for example balanced and unbalanced forces I was with my friends I think our is good and it will work but I'm not sure our design was like an open book so it caches the wind and that is what moves it. it was kind of fun it was better than what we could have been doing. 😁 next time I think I would go with other friends or at least get more time to make it better.

Growing NZ innovation challenge

Introduction:
In DTE we had to take a problem and then fix it we didn't have to make it it could just be an idea which I liked. my groups problem was find a new way to sell the faba bean and we decided to cross a faba bean with a watermelon to make the broad melon.

Reflection:
I liked doing this but I think next time I would like a new group because two people in it did no work but I guess that is my own fault because I know they don't do work but I still let them in my group. I liked that you could just have an idea and that was fine I think if I was going to do this again I would change the people in my group and not be the leader.

3d shapes

in maths we are working from a rubric were we pick a topic thingy and then do an activity on it my group decided to do this one: Identify classes of two- and three-dimensional shapes by their geometric properties. to do this we decided to play maths games relating to the topic I played Bloxorz. and now I know that 3D shapes have similar shapes to 2D shapes and you can make a 3D shape with 2d ones. here are some pictures of me playing the game

CARR licences for English

What are we doing with CARR licences? It is a system where you have a learners, restricted, full, and expert and like a normal car licence you make your way up and you get privileges with what level you are witch is based on your behaviour.

Why are we doing this? To stop people from misbehaving and reward good behaviour

Where in the four sections, do you place yourself? I think I will place myself in green (expert)

What learning improvements will you aim for? Work harder with my learning and aim to push myself and do the best I can.
