Social studies

In social studies our class and Mr Peseta came up with 12 class rules. Mr Peseta came up with 6 rules and our class came up with 6 rules we put these rules into a class treaty here is an image of the treaty,we all signed.

Mr P wanted to get to know the students of 9 Ca, he wanted to know a bit about us, our interests and our goals for 2017 here is our letter

in social studies we were learning about crests/coat of arms and how they can resent a family or group then we had to make one for our family here is one 

here is the reason behind the shield: 

I did the clock on the hill because I go camping every year and where I go you can see it. 

I did the book because I am a book worm so I had to put it on. 

I did the R.C because that is my initials.   

I did the cross on the hill because I am a christian and I also like it.

in social studies we made our own Moko this is mine 

the heart means that they are loved and the lines mean that they are protected and the waves mean that they love the sea and the hammer head shark means that they are brave (yes I made this up but it is what it means to me) I learnt how they do the Moko and what the bits of the face means and how they learnt how to do he Moko .
